05/16/2024 at 01:30 PM Bartender: Manuel Server: Perla FOOD & DRINKS Manuel made the best margarita I've ever had from a restaurant! The food was excellent too! After walking in I didn't expect much. Only two staff members were working the front of house and only one table was seated. Luckily for me it was the middle of the afternoon and between lunch and dinner on a Thursday, so the fact that it was slow WASN'T a testament to the quality. I had the carnitas and they were delicious. The ambiance is relaxed, comfortable and well balanced. SERVICE Perla and Manuel were both spectacular. Everything one expects without any unpleasantries! DECOR Well decor CLEANLINESS Very clean LOCATION Out of the way and in an unlikely place. PRICE Very well priced. OVERALL EXPERIENCE Will definitely come here again
The food and drinks are excellent. We visited on at lunchtime on a Saturday, and no problems getting a table right away. Looking forward to returning in the near future.
I came to Maya's for a co-worker's birthday party/ baby shower, and the experience was decent. I usually have lower expectations when dining with a large group, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our party of nearly 20 was seated at a large table in a private area, and our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! I noticed that he didn't have any support from other staff, despite the size of our group. I ordered the pozole verde, and it hit the spot! I loved how much heat and hominy this pozole packed. There was even enough for me to take home leftovers. My only critique would be that service wasn't consistent from start to finish. My party reserved the table from 12-3pm on a weekday and towards the end of our reservation, the server was not only bussing the table, but also stacking the chairs on top. It wasn't the most considerate gesture, and it made our group feel uncomfortably pushed out. Overall, the food met my expectations, but the service could've been better.
Good food, good drinks, and great experience. The alambre was enough for 2 meals, and tastes great the second day. There is plenty of seating for larger groups for a great party, or a family lunch on the weekend. I ordered the cantarito which was a great drink to be paired with the alambre. The meat in was great and didnt have inedible parts as sometime meat can when mixed. It looks like the parking lot is joined with the apartments next door, so there may be limited parking at times. The entrance also can be hard to find at times if you're not paying attention as well.
I used to est here quite a bit and they were always solid with their quality and customer service. I am glad to see they are consistent and have even improved. Their pork belly bites were awesome and the chicken enchiladas were delicious. The steak enchilada was good but the asada could have been more juicy. They have also improved the decor and are still very clean. Always a fan fave
Can't see this place off from the 5 because no signs unless you know people who know this place. Came here for my daughter's 21st birthday. Waiter gave us a complimentary slice of cheesecake for her birthday. Thank you! Food was amazing and so was their classic margaritas.
Loud ambiance but fun for cinco de Mayo The table guac is decadent the chicken enchiladas were delicious as well as their drinks. The watermelon breeze was the perfect amount of liquor and watermelon mixed lol. I will be back for happy hour.
